Hello Lakehill families!

SPRING LEAGUE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!

As every day brings a couple extra minutes of daylight and we get closer to sunny days, it’s time to start getting ready for spring ball!  We’re excited to be planning a normal start with league games beginning at the start of the season.
To help us with team building and getting ready for older ages tryouts, it’s really helpful if you register as early as possible.  This year, pre-season registrants will have the opportunity to purchase a Lakehill hoodie for your player with registration for only $10!!  This amazing offer is made possible with the generous sponsorships of Craig Bryden of Harbour City Kitchens and Ryan Keller of Pemberton Holmes Realty.  More information on these great hoodies can be found in the registration form, and a size guide is available on our website, lakehillball.com You can also order other Lakehill branded gear through our online store – Lakehill gear store

SOFTBALL REGISTRATION:

New this season, Softball BC has adjusted the age divisions, including a new category for under 9 players.
If your player is new to softball, you will need to purchase a Softball BC ID number from Softball BC. This number is needed in order to complete your registration.
Please follow this link to get your ID number: https://www.rampregistrations.com/createaccount?v3=86af496e
If your player has played softball before they will already have an ID number. If you do not recall it please follow this link to look it up: http://softballbcca.msa4.rampinteractive.com/content/look-up-your-softball-bc-number

VOLUNTEERING:

Our park is 100% volunteer led!  As part of our Lakehill family, we expect every family to contribute both to the park overall and their player’s team.  No experience required – there’s a selection of park duties listed on the registration form.  If you have any questions about these roles, please feel free to reach out and ask questions.  Note:  Parents who choose the $100 volunteer payment instead of a park task are still expected to volunteer with their child’s team.  Without you, our park cannot function.  Thank you for your help!

PARK IMPROVEMENT FEE:

After a one year reduction in our fundraising fee from $50 to $25, we are re-introducing the fee but at a reduced rate of $40/player.  This park improvement fee is used for larger projects around the park – things like upgrading the batting cage or major field and building improvements – and is a vital part of making sure our players have access to safe and modern equipment and facilities.

We’re looking forward to a great season of Lakehill Ball – warm spring evenings, happy active kids, and great food from our friends at Dave’s Dugout.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to:
